ENDORSEMENTS & ARTICLES

Local Voices. Real Experience. A Record They Know.

In a community like Parker, trust is earned one relationship at a time.

The people who know this town best are the people who live here, work here, raise their families here, build businesses here, and serve alongside their neighbors. These are the local voices who have seen my commitment to Parker firsthand, and I’m honored to have their support.

From community leaders and small business owners to longtime Parker residents and fellow public servants, these endorsements reflect something that matters deeply to me: people who know my work believe I should continue doing it.

Take a look at what your neighbors and community leaders have to say, along with the articles that have documented the work we’ve been doing for Parker.

ENDORSEMENTS

I’m proud to endorse Brandi Wilks, Anne Barrington, and Erik Frandsen for re-election to the Parker Town Council.   Having served 12 years on Town Council before becoming Mayor, I know how important experience is in this role. There is simply no substitute for understanding our community, knowing the issues, and having the experience to make good decisions for Parker’s future. But my support for Brandi, Anne, and Erik is about more than experience. These three have done an incredible job serving Parker. They have put in countless hours, tackled difficult issues, listened to our residents, supported our businesses, and helped move our town forward while protecting the things that make Parker such a special place to call home.   They also understand something I believe strongly: serving on Town Council isn’t about politics. It’s about Parker. It’s about showing up, doing the work, and making thoughtful decisions for the families, businesses, and neighborhoods we serve. Brandi, Anne, and Erik have accomplished a great deal, but they aren’t done yet. Parker has important opportunities and challenges ahead, and I believe their experience, commitment, and love for this community are exactly what we need.   I’m proud to serve alongside them, and I’m proud to support Brandi Wilks, Anne Barrington, and Erik Frandsen for another term on Parker Town Council.

DARREN WEEKLY

DOUGLAS COUNTY SHERIFF

I am honored to write this letter in support of Brandi Wilks for re-election to the Parker Town Council.
I, Lana Paggen, have known Brandi since childhood, and over the years I have had the privilege of watching her become not only a dedicated community leader, but a deeply invested member of the Parker community. Parker is her home. She has raised her children here, continues to raise her family here, owns a small business here, and genuinely cares about the people and businesses that make this community what it is.
Brandi has consistently shown tremendous support for our local community, especially small business owners. She is accessible, present, and willing to help when called upon. I honestly cannot remember attending a community event where Brandi wasn’t there, whether it was a Town meeting, grand opening, special event, or simply showing up to support the people of Parker.
In 2025, when Venalonzo’s Tacos experienced the terrifying loss of being robbed at gunpoint, Brandi was one of the very first people to reach out and check on our family business, alongside Mayor Josh Rivero. That moment meant more to us than she probably realizes. It demonstrated the kind of leader and neighbor she truly is.
Brandi doesn’t just represent Parker, she is Parker. She is invested, engaged, compassionate, and committed to the community she calls home.
On behalf of myself, Lana Paggen, and the entire Venalonzo’s Tacos Familia, I am proud to endorse Brandi Wilks for re-election to Parker Town Council.
With sincere respect,

LANA PAGGEN

PARKER SMALL BUSINESS OWNER – VENALONZO’S TACOS

I have had the opportunity to serve alongside Brandi Wilks on the Parker Town Council
for the past four years.

During that time, I have seen firsthand her longstanding
commitment to the Town of Parker and the people who call it home.

Brandi is a longtime Parker resident and a third-generation Parker native. Her
connection to this community goes well beyond her service on Town Council. She has
been involved with Parker organizations, local businesses, youth initiatives, and
community causes for many years.

Brandi has consistently made public safety a priority. During our time together on
Council, I have also seen her engage in discussions about finding sustainable,
alternative sources of revenue to help fund important public-safety services at the
federal level. She has worked to support the Parker Police Department and the School
Resource Officer program.

After four years of working with Brandi on Town Council, I can speak firsthand to her
commitment to Parker, her involvement in the community, and the seriousness with
which she approaches the responsibilities of public service. Please join me in voting to
re-elect Brandi Wilks for Parker Town Council.

JOHN DIAK

PARKER TOWN COUNCILMEMBER – MAYOR PRO-TEM

There are three positions open for Parker Town Council in this election, and I am happy to endorse Brandi Wilks, Anne Barrington, and Erik Frandsen.
Having served alongside all three, I’ve had the opportunity to see firsthand their passion and gumption for Parker. They are fellow citizens who stepped up to serve their community, and their commitment extends well beyond Town Council meetings. Whether conducting official Town business, serving as liaisons to boards and organizations, attending community events, or simply listening to residents, they continue to dedicate their time and energy to our community.
Serving on Town Council requires more than having opinions about the issues. It requires understanding how our Town operates, listening to different perspectives, working through difficult decisions, and always keeping Parker’s long-term interests in mind. Brandi, Anne, and Erik have demonstrated that ability throughout their time on Council.
Each person brings a different perspective and set of strengths to the dais, but they share something important: a genuine commitment to Parker and the people who call it home. They approach their roles with the understanding that the decisions we make at the local level have a direct impact on our residents, businesses, and community.
Parker will continue to face important decisions as we grow and plan for the future. Having experienced, thoughtful, and dedicated people on Town Council matters.
I’m proud to have served alongside them, and I’m proud to endorse Brandi, Anne, and Erik for another term on Parker Town Council.

TODD HENDREKS

PARKER TOWN COUNCILMEMBER

I’ve had the privilege of serving alongside Brandi Wilks on Parker Town Council for the past four years, and she is one of the most tenacious people I have ever met.

When Brandi was advocating for School Resource Officers, I followed her around Washington, D.C. for 2 days. She wouldn’t stop until she had exhausted every possibility. That’s Brandi… when something matters, she gives it everything she has.

Brandi is quick-thinking, articulate and always prepared. She does her homework before all meetings, and she consistently comes ready with thoughtful questions, comments and a clear point of view.

As Council’s liaison to the Parker Chamber of Commerce, she rarely misses a ribbon cutting or an opportunity to support our local businesses because she genuinely doesn’t want to let her community down. She brings that same commitment to her work with the Douglas County Youth Initiative and, truly, to everything she is involved in, Brandi is 100% all in.

But as driven as Brandi is, she also has a genuine heart of gold. She never forgets a special occasion and has an incredible way of making sure everyone feels included.

Brandi shows up. She works hard, cares deeply and puts her whole heart into the people and causes that matter to her community.

ANNE BARRINGTON

PARKER TOWN COUNCILMEMBER

Honored to stand beside and endorse Brandi Wilks for re-election. Brandi brings a deep passion and thoughtful approach to supporting our Town. PAM BRIERE

PARKER MULTIPLE SMALL BUSINESSES OWNER

Parker is such a big part of our family’s story. It’s where we’ve raised our kids, grown our businesses, built friendships, and found a community that has truly become family.
That’s why I pay attention to the people who genuinely show up for it.
What I appreciate about Brandi is that she doesn’t just talk about community. She is in it. I’ve seen her show up for small businesses, local events, families, and the people doing the everyday work of making Parker stronger.
She listens. She is approachable. She has real conversations. And she understands that the decisions made at Town Hall eventually reach someone’s family, someone’s business, someone’s employees, and someone’s future.
To me, that matters.
Leadership has never been about a title. It’s about being present, listening, caring, and continuing to show up even when nobody is watching.
Brandi, from our family to yours, thank you for continuing to show up for the community we love so much. You have our support.

JILL CALLAN

PARKER SMALL BUSINESS OWNER – PETIT PARKER

Hi! I own Beautiful Art Picture Framing & Art Gallery here in Downtown Parker, Colorado. I have run my business in Downtown Parker now for 9 years. I started my business out of my home in March of 2000 right here in Parker.   Over the years I have seen Parker grow! I know some of you would say Parker is growing too much & some would say it’s a growth that needs to happen. As your downtown business owner I would say it needs to happen. We either grow or get left behind as an awesome town! Why am I saying this? Because we need a town council member that has seen the growth and knows how to control the growth that the Town of Parker deserves! Brandi Wilks is our Town Council Member who has seen ALL the growth as she is a Parker Native! I would say 100% Vote for Brandi! She has skin in the game to make Parker a great place to live, shop & visit!

MICHAEL CAPRE

There are so many reasons that I am supporting Brandi Wilks for Parker Town Council. Some of the most important reasons include:
1. Community Representation-Brandi understands the needs of our community and works to ensure residents’ voices are heard.
2. Local impact – She focuses on important issues that affect Parker, including zoning and housing to public safety, parks, roads and infrasturctures.
3. A different perspective – Brandi brings a  fresh respective and looks for comprehensive solutions to the challenges facing our community
4. Listening to Residents – she believes community input is an important part of developing thoughtful policies in making decisions that affect Parker residents.
5. Responsible Use of Taxpayers Funds – Brandi emphasizes , making sure taxpayers’ dollars are used responsibly for essential services such as roads , parks , and emergency services.
These are just a few of the reasons I support Brandi Wilks , and believe she is committed to helping make Parker Colorado a great place to live work and raise a family.

KAREN MONTGOMERY

I support you to run again for town council. Being a resident of Parker I have used Brandi and Cory on several business transactions on buying and selling my homes.
I have to honestly say they are trustworthy and always looking to do the proper thing for their clients. Having said that I can see that she will only do the best she can for the town of Parker.
I know her and her family have been life long residents of Parker. She only has the best interest and whatever she does on the council. You can count on my vote.

RALPH CERMINARA

PARKER SMALL BUSINESS OWNER – COLONNA’S PIZZA

My wife and I are proud to endorse Brandi Wilks for re-election to the Parker Town Council.

As a small-business owner, I know how challenging it can be to build and operate a business in today’s environment. That is one of the reasons I appreciate Brandi so much. Brandi is a small-business owner herself, so she understands firsthand what it takes to meet a payroll, serve customers, navigate regulations, and keep a business moving forward.

Linda and I have personally experienced Brandi’s willingness to stand behind us and support us as small-business owners. She listened to our concerns, took the time to understand what we were facing, and worked to help us find solutions.

What impressed me most was that Brandi didn’t simply say she supports small businesses—she understands our concerns because she lives that reality herself. She recognizes that sometimes rules and regulations can unintentionally create obstacles for the very small businesses that are trying to invest in and contribute to Parker.

Brandi has been willing to look at those rules and advocate for changes that could give small businesses a better opportunity to succeed. That willingness to listen, question the way things have always been done, and work toward practical solutions is something I deeply appreciate.

Just as important to Linda and I are Brandi’s values. We respect the principles she brings to public service, her willingness to listen to people, her commitment to doing what she believes is right, and the importance she places on treating people with respect. We have tremendous respect for the integrity and values she brings to her role.

Unfortunately, our experience has not always been the same with every member of Town Council. There have been times when we felt that the concerns of small-business owners were not given the consideration they deserved. Brandi was different. She listened, she understood, and she stood with us.

Parker’s locally owned businesses are an important part of what makes this community special. Behind every small business are people who have invested their time, money, energy, and often their entire livelihoods into building something for this community.

I believe our town needs leaders who understand that because they have experienced it themselves.

Brandi Wilks is one of those leaders.

Linda and I are proud to support Brandi and are grateful for the way she has supported us and other small businesses in Parker. We appreciate her willingness to listen, her understanding of the challenges facing business owners, her values, and her efforts to make Parker a community where small businesses have a genuine opportunity to succeed.

Thank you, Brandi, for standing with us, for standing up for Parker’s small-business community, and for leading with the values you believe in.
